The Collie railway station group was nominated for the 2005 group of the year.
We are now pleased to advise that the front of the station has been graced with a large clock. This is a replica of the original with the WAGR letters on the face. The clock was custom made by Showcase Jewellers in Collie. It is battery operated and this meant that a hinged box had to be made in order to regularly change the battery. This will keep the correct time, perhaps the only public clock in Collie to do so.

We have now received our new range of T shirts, these are specifically designed for our group,with a large steam engine in full steam and in full colour emblazend on them with "Collie Western Australia" also printed underneath the loco.
Sizes range from 12 to XXL call in and see these. Various colours.
We also have a new supply of coal figurines,these are selling fast.

NEW MURAL (31/3/09) Through the Generosity of Mr&Mrs Hill of Dunsborough We now have, gracing the one wall in the station a 2Mtr X 1Mtr Mural of the Steam Loco "Greenmount". Our thanks to Mr&Mrs Hill for this wonderfull addition to our displays and also to Lorraine (Mrs Hills Sister) and one of our volunteers,for coordinating this piece of artwork.
